The best thing about the location, it's very central and allows you not to have to use transportation. We loved the shower, very spacious shower tray and hot water (they wanted to stay in). I read in several comments that they didn't turn on the heating, but that was not our case at all, at night we slept very warm with summer pyjamas . A hotel that is good because if you go to visit a place like Brussels (in my opinion) is not to be in a hotel is to enjoy the city and quality/price this hotel is great.
What we didn't like was that the hair dryer and TV didn't work. I have to add that we didn't tell the staff about it, maybe they would have changed it but we didn't care. sink was too small and it was splashing water a lot. We had the impression that the windows did not close very well but the heating was on intermittently and we did not feel cold, we slept every day in short sleeves and shorts and in the street it was very very cold (I had never known that cold in my life). As for the elevator, it is a bit scary but it works well.

truth is that I liked it a lot and more after reading some of the comments about this hotel, people don't know what they expect or what they are complaining about, because I think it is true that the water in the shower comes out but now in Bruges I am in a 4 star hotel and water in the shower also comes out, that the elevator is small so yes and that, I don't think anything will happen to wait and if it is not possible to go down or up, It's supposed to be the space they had to put it and it's a good thing because it does its job, I also read about the dirty blankets and I have to say that with respect to my room this is not so, to finish I have to say that with the quality/price ratio it's great and location is unbeatable and staff are very correct and they solve everything you ask them, if I went back to Brussels, I would come back to this hotel.

The lodging has a privileged location. The staff couldn't be nicer! 24h reception and a buffet breakfast for 5 euros which unfortunately I didn't have time to try. In my case I was not cold, in the room it was very hot (Belgium was on high alert for heatwave) but you could open the bathroom window and one of the main windows to make current, so taking into account this and that I was in the room from 21.00 I had no problem. I slept with the windows closed to muffle the noise (there is a brewery down on the right) and covered with the sheet. Everything was clean. You can tell that the building is old, but it is well reformed and maintained. There are no details for the client, pure there are gel/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. I would repeat. The beds are comfortable.
The neighbors were a little noisy until 12, but that's independent of the accommodation, you just hear a lot from the neighbors. The elevator is narrow and long, but considering that it is an old building, I don't mind.
